| Pro-life | a) Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation? | ||
| No | b) Do you support legalizing abortion when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions? | ||
| Women and men do have a choice. That choice is at the point of protected/unprotected intercourse. Upon conception, the choice transfers to the child. | |||
| No | a) In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing state employee salaries AND/OR pensions? | ||
| No | b) In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket? | ||
| No | c) In order to reduce property taxes, do you support increasing the Idaho sales tax? | ||
| In order to balance the budget, I support reducing dirty spending that costs tax payers money without any gain. For example, hiring a person to study climate change in Idaho or millions on out-of-state architecture costs for a library. Reducing expenditures is the way to balance the budget. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you support a limit on campaign contributions to state candidates? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support the use of an independent AND/OR bipartisan commission for redistricting? | ||
| Yes | d) Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls? | ||
| No | e) Do you support automatic voter registration? | ||
| There is too much money coming in from out of state donors. One can see that on the Secretary of State website. I would also support a limit on outside campaign contributions. The voting process in Idaho is working well at this time and should not be changed. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes? | ||
| Yes | b) Should an individual under 18 accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police? | ||
| No | d) Do you support the use of private prisons in Idaho? | ||
| No | e) Do you support mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenders? | ||
| I support capital punishment for child sex trafficking and other abuses to children. The left wants to give a free-ride to children under 18 who are accused of a violent crime. This allows gangs and other adults to use children to do their crimes with no repercussions. I would like to see the state take over prisons. It seems like there is a lot of waste. Prison should be for violent offenders which can include drug users. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you support state government spending as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support lowering state income taxes as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support reducing government regulations on the private sector? | ||
| Yes | d) Do you support requiring welfare applicants to pass a drug test in order to receive benefits? | ||
| Yes | e) Do you support an increase of the minimum wage of Idaho? | ||
| No | f) Do you support requiring employers to provide paid family leave? | ||
| Yes | g) Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19? | ||
| b - tax incentives should be given to businesses who locate in Idaho, especially if they locate in rural areas. e - I support increasing the minimum wage, but with the realization that minimum wage is not suppose to be a livable wage. It is for introductory positions. It should encourage people to improve their work to gain a higher wage. f - I support paid family leave. I just don't support requiring employers to provide that benefit. g - Idaho received a lot of money from the government and it should go to the people, not to contact tracing. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you support adopting federal education standards in Idaho? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support state funding for charter schools? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support increasing teacher salaries AND/OR benefits in Idaho? | ||
| No | d) Should immigrants unlawfully present in the United States who graduate from Idaho high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities? | ||
| a - I believe President Trump's 1776 initiative will change the direction of our children's education. b - Parents should have a choice on who educates their children. They pay taxes and should receive a voucher for charter education. c - Teachers are valuable assets to our state. d - People in our country illegally should not be encouraged with benefits. They should be encouraged to become legal. | |||
| No | a) Do you support state funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)? | ||
| No | b) Do you support government regulations of greenhouse gas emissions? | ||
| No | c) Do you support increasing state funding for clean drinking water initiatives? | ||
| I do support forest management to reduce the large amounts of toxins being sent into our air by fires. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you generally support gun-control legislation? | ||
| Yes | b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows? | ||
| Yes | c) Should teachers be allowed to bring guns into the classroom after passing gun safety training? | ||
| Yes | d) Should a license be required for gun ownership? | ||
| Idahoans should always have the right to have guns. However, criminals should not have a right. Let's keep weapons in the right hands. I also believe their would be less attacks on our schools if teachers were wearing guns. Licenses keep guns out of the criminals hands (at least legal guns). | |||
| No | a) Should the state government increase funding for treatment facilities to combat opioid abuse? | ||
| No | b) Do you support Medicaid expansion through Idaho's health care programs? | ||
| No | c) Do you support requiring individuals to purchase health care insurance? | ||
| No | d) Do you support legislation that grants citizens the right to choose to die through euthanasia? | ||
| No | e) Do you support eliminating religious exemptions for vaccinations? | ||
| No | f) Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19? | ||
| Health care is a right and should not be mandated by the government. I voted against Medicaid expansion because I can't afford health insurance if I have to pay for others plans as well. We should make health insurance affordable for everyone, not just the poor. It use to be the rate was based on age, not income level. I would like to see that return. Also, medical physicians are not trained to handle things like autoimmune diseases and mold. I believe we need to start looking at health insurance coverage for naturopathic physicians. | |||
| No | a) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Idaho's anti-discrimination laws? | ||
| No | b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Idaho's anti-discrimination laws? | ||

| Yes | d) Do you support legislation that prohibits sexual orientation conversion therapy for individuals under the age of 18? | ||
| No | e) Do you support inclusion of the Equal Rights Amendment in the state constitution? | ||
| I don't believe anyone should be discriminated against whether it is the sexual orientation or their religious beliefs. I do not believe the government has the right to mandate our beliefs. | |||
| I would like to see the grocery tax credit on the Idaho State tax return be increased to actually cover a families grocery sales tax. I believe we can increase the economy of Idaho by providing tax relief to business who have their business in rural areas of Idaho. Put the businesses where people live to reduce traffic and enhance our great state. |
